Introduction

My name is D'kie Rodriguez as you would have probably have gathered by now. I was born and raised in the Philippines.
What do I do ? well surprisingly enough I now make graphic designs for a living at Philippine Times of Las Vegas which is a Filipino news tabloid.

Early age to education ....
I started doing graphics formally since 1996. Of course there was no stopping my addiction for computer graphics and designs now. For some reason after graduating in college and getting my Associates of Applied Science in Graphic Design, i got really involve in new media, like films, 3D animation and modelling and even the web.

University Studies ....
I started my design studies at the University of Sto. Tomas back in Manila Philippines. This was a 4 year course,but unfortunately i didn't finish the course for I have to move here in Las Vegas where I continued my studies during which, iI was introduced to computer graphics and the internet. I designed my very first web sites, which indeed were quite poor, as anyone's first pages are. Then after a couple of these original designs, I began experimenting more with my designs. Next, came the inspiration of Flash !. My friend wanted my to design him a site for his project in college. This then lead me into the world of flash tutorials and hours of playing with the program.

The Quest for Employment ...
While I was completing my studies, I started working for a sign company as a Graphic designer. With all the designers in there, this inspired me to be better at what I do best, DESIGN. Then, I found my self employed in what I like doing best, designing and doing graphical work in Photoshop.
